Rinker Design Associates, P.C. has provided civil engineering consulting services on thousands of private sector and public sector projects. Our successful experience, with our private and public sector clients, illustrates our ability to produce the highest quality plans while meeting very tight schedules. Listed below are a few projects that depict the wide range of our capabilities and our portfolio.

  • Dominion Valley Commercial Center – Market Square
    Prince William County, Virginia
This project consists of over 250,000 square feet of mixed commercial space and the associated site improvements on 20 acres. This project was prepared for Toll Brothers in conjunction with their overall planned community.
  • DEA – Laboratory Facility for Special Testing
    Loudoun County, Virginia
This project consisted of 50,880 square feet and associated site improvements on 6.7680 acres. This project was developed under strict DEA, GSA and Corps of Engineers specifications and guidelines. It is a government secured facility, with an extensive site security system. All site plans were not only reviewed by Loudoun County for local conformance, but also by all three previously mentioned government agencies.
  • Spotsylvania Town Centre Expansion
    Spotsylvania County, Virginia
Site plan for the addition of a lifestyle center (6 buildings totaling about 190,000 sq.ft.) as well as a future cinema, restaurant and hotel. This plan required extensive relocation of existing utilities, new utilities and underground SWM/BMP facility (approximately 12 acres). Grading required within the FHWA I-95 right of way was a major challenge for the site.
  • Herndon Harbor House
    Town of Herndon, Virginia
Herndon Habor House is an elderly, independent-living facility located in the Town of Herndon, Va. This development entails two - 3 story buildings located on approximately 2 acres.  The total number of residential units is 60.  RDA provided the boundary and topography surveys as well as the complete project site design.  In addition, all plats were prepared (including a condominium plat) by RDA.  Close coordination with the town was also necessary to assure that the project was in substantial conformance with the original approved rezoning.
