For this project RDA teamed with CH2M Hill in providing the Upper Occoquan Sewage Authority (UOSA) the survey and design efforts necessary to finalize the construction plans for this pump station. CH2M Hill designed the actual pump station and the accompanying 2,800 feet of force main. RDA provided all of the survey services including boundary and topography surveys along the force main alignment and for the pump station site. In addition, RDA provided the pump station site plan including a special exception plat for a public use within a R-1 zone. RDA also provided erosion and sediment control plans, landscape plans, sight distance profiles, stormwater detention waiver and floodplain study waiver requests, and easement plats. The plans were reviewed and approved by Fairfax County. This project is just one of many projects surveyed and designed by RDA for UOSA. Said projects include the Little Rocky Run Pump Station, a project very similar in scope to Cub Run Pump Station, as well as various surveys and designs throughout the UOSA plant itself.
