This project involved the survey and design by RDA of approximately 3,000 feet of 24″ waterline. Through careful planning and coordination with the Prince William County Service Authority (PWCSA), a best alignment was chosen adjacent to the Parkway, but proved to be impractical due to the many existing utility conflicts that were revealed by the underground utility designator. Through subsequent meetings and site visits, an alternate route through vacant properties not directly adjacent to the Parkway was chosen. Boundary and topography surveys were completed and construction plan and profile drawings were generated and approved by the PWCSA. Plats were provided for those portions of the waterline located outside existing road right-of-way.
