Alternative Project Delivery

Commitment, collaboration, and innovation are values that fortify RDA's principles of alternative project delivery, which is a method that allows design professionals to collaboratively harness the talents and insights of all stakeholders to escalate project challenges. Our expertise in the alternative project delivery adds value for the owner, reduces inefficiencies, and optimizes design and construction. 

RDA has delivered 33 alternative delivery projects throughout its history, serving as Lead Designer on 22 of those projects. Over the past 10 years, RDA has continued to expand its alternative project delivery experience, including serving as the Lead Designer on Virginia Department of Transportation's (VDOT)'s first Progressive Design-Build project. 

This strength in the alternative project delivery is based on integrating multiple disciplines and approaches to achieve the synergy required for economical solutions and successful projects, while meeting time and budget constraints.
